The lawsuit filed on May 1st 2018 by Texas and 6 other States could end up in the termination of the DACA program.
The legal action does not specify if DACA is a good policy or not, it stipulates the legality of the authority exerted by President Obama while creating the program without Congress approval.

The outcome of the suit will certainly be appealed and will most likely end up in the U.S. Supreme Court.

“Mr. Paxton hopes that the judges who rule on it — perhaps ultimately the justices of the United States Supreme Court — will let Mr. Trump proceed with the repeal he already wants”
