Meet Jacob Punch
Criminal Defense
Jacob Punch joined Bartlett & Weigle in March 2021 as an associate attorney in the areas of Criminal Defense, Immigration, and Personal Injury. He has been a practicing attorney in the area of Northern Kentucky since 2016.
During his previous employment as an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney in Kenton County, Kentucky, Jacob gained valuable experience in the Courtroom and specifically in high-level Criminal Prosecution. Having left prosecution for defense, Jacob provides insight into prosecutorial strategy to assist our clients in their own cases.
Jacob attended the University of Dayton between 2008 and 2012 earning his B.S. in Psychology as well as minor in Philosophy with honors. Jacob then attended the University of Cincinnati College of Law and participated in numerous extracurricular leadership opportunities.
Prior to graduation, Jacob worked as a law clerk for various law firms in a range of practice areas. This experience allowed the unique knowledge of multiple practice areas with hands-on experience.
Jacob lives in Northern Kentucky and regularly attends sporting events for the Bengals, Reds, FC Cincinnati, and Bearcats. Jacob is admitted to the State Bars in Ohio (2016) and Kentucky (2018)
